Dear Madam,

May I just let you be aware that I have been a regular customer at Harrods for over 30 years, and therefore I am not some dilly-dallying one time customer. I have become quite familiar with the types of clothing available in the womenswear department and their location on the first floor, so you can imagine my horror when I found it in a complete muddle.

My favourite brand at your store is, of course, Burberry and I was utterly shocked when I saw that the Burberry concession was moved into close proximity to the lingerie. If it were my store, I would move it back immediately, as I’m sure you have been inundated with confused shoppers like myself. On top of this, the lingerie is hideously vulgar and looks like scraps of cheap fabric have been pinned to a mannequin. I can’t imagine the type of shopper it brings into the store, and how dirty their thoughts are. So, for your own image, I suggest it is terminated from this place you call ‘Womenswear’.

Because of this, I’m afraid to say I will not being gracing your establishment.

Yours sincerely,

Edna Welthorpe (Mrs)
